As God grew him, he went on to teach the Adult Sunday school class, as well as Wednesday night bible study. Corey was eventually led by God to serve as a deacon under the leadership of his Pastor, Rev. Norris Turner. Answering God’s call on his life to preach the Gospel, in September of 2003, Rev. Jackson preached his initial sermon; “It is in Your Praise” at Gethsemane Baptist church. He was ordained and called to pastor at Upper Hope Station MBC in 2006.
